The Coastal Pines Technical College (CPTC) Foundation had a Trustee meeting at the Jesup Instructional site on Wednesday, February 27, 2019. After the meeting Wayne Combs, OREMC board president, and Craig Morgan, OREMC board director presented a $2,000 check to the CPTC Foundation. Stephanie Roberts, director of Institutional Advancement, Dr. Glenn Deibert, president of CPTC, and members of the Board of Trustees were present to receive the check.
“Donations such as this are made possible to qualifying organizations using funds from OREMC’s unclaimed capital credits. “Our ongoing support of the Coastal Pines Technical College Foundation helps further advance our cooperative principles of education, training and investment in our communities,” says OREMC Member Service Representative Dewayne Johns.
“Okefenoke Rural Electric Membership Corporation (Okefenoke REMC) is an important part of our community and a great supporter of our College, and more specifically, our Electrical Lineworker program,” states Dr. Glenn Deibert. “Okefenoke REMC not only helps to provide the needed resources for our students to be successful, they also offer great career opportunities for our graduates.”
