Terrell Brazell of St. Marys has been appointed to the Okefenoke REMC Board of Directors representing District 9-Southeast Camden County. The OREMC board appointed Brazell to fill the seat left vacant from an unfulfilled term.

A broker/owner of Mossy Oak Properties, Brazell says it was a couple of years ago he first thought of running for the board, but timing wasn’t quite right. Growing up with many of the line crew who work in OREMC’s Kingsland office, and having a brother who is a right-of-way forester for Georgia Power, he says he has always had a natural interest in the electric utility industry. Given his experience and background, Brazell says he welcomes the opportunity to serve on the OREMC board. He feels he can advocate for both the cooperative and its consumer-members with his unique perspective, and gain greater understanding of the process of delivering, maintaining and restoring power.

Brazell is a life-long resident of Camden County and resides in St. Marys with his wife and three children.
